Are you looking to transport your children to a bygone era, where life was simpler, and the American frontier was waiting to be explored? Look no further than our immersive homeschool curriculum based on the beloved Little House on the Prairie book series. Step back in time to the 1800s and experience the world of the homesteader firsthand, all while gaining a well-rounded education in history, science, literature, and more!

Imagine learning about the fascinating lives of Pa and Caroline, who were married during the same year Abraham Lincoln was elected president. Discover the motivations that led men to uproot their families and brave the challenges of the frontier. Dive into the pages of history and understand the impact of common diseases on the isolated homes of the prairie. Uncover the effects of the U.S. government's Indian policies on the lives of homesteaders.

But this curriculum isn't limited to reading and lectures. Our hands-on approach ensures that learning becomes an interactive and engaging experience. Through activities, games, crafts, video clips, and lively discussions, your child will delve deep into the world of the homesteader. They'll play games, create crafts, and explore a wide range of activities that bring the time period to life.

One unique aspect of our FREE homeschool curriculum is the opportunity for the children to become the teacher. Each week, they will be assigned a topic to research and present to the class, drawing from the material covered in their readings. Whether it's a show-and-tell session with items from the era, a poster board presentation, leading an activity, or simply sharing newfound knowledge, your child will develop important presentation and communication skills while becoming an expert on various aspects of frontier life.

And let's not forget the fun! Every week is a party centered around the beloved Little House on the Prairie series. Your child will have the chance to fully immerse themselves in the world of Laura Ingalls Wilder, experiencing the joy and excitement of life on the prairie.

But that's not all. Our curriculum is designed to save you time and money. With 24 weeks of lesson plans for group classes, you'll have a well-structured framework to guide your homeschooling journey. Additionally, we provide hundreds of unique crafts, group games, and other activities to supplement the learning experience. You'll have all the resources you need to create a fun and engaging homeschool classroom.

This curriculum is suitable for students in grades 3 to 7, offering age-appropriate content and activities. And don't worry about grades; our elementary classes focus on fun and interactive learning, allowing your child to explore and grow without the pressure of traditional grading systems.

So why wait? Step back in time and embark on an unforgettable homeschool adventure with our Little House on the Prairie curriculum. These free homeschool lesson plans include hands-on topics & books covering a variety of nature topics for your preschoolers. https://www.homeschooling101.net/prek-nature-study Our homeschool group sessions typically last for one hour, so the lesson plans have been designed to accommodate that amount of time, but there is often additional material available. Every week has books, activities, crafts, snacks and/or sensory exploration on that week's topics. Many of the books on this list may be available at your library. Elementary classes are not graded, but fun and interactive learning. WHO IS THIS WRITTEN FOR? Our class was designed for preschool of 3 year olds, 4 year olds and 5 year olds. The homeschool group lesson plans cover 19 weeks of activities. The group meets once a week for an hour to go over the lessons. The lessons are designed so students do all activities in the classroom and bring the learning to life in a group setting with their friends through games, crafts, and activities. If you're not in group classes some of the activities would be excellent for your own individual home school to make these books and a whole year of learning come to life.
